128 - 3rd Presidential Debate with Grant Larimer
Thursday Oct 20, 2016
Thursday Oct 20, 2016
We're joined in-studio by the Purple Dragon (A.K.A. Grant Larimer) for coverage of the third and final presidential debate (thank Jebus).
No longer content to sit back while Donald Trump flapped his alternatingly pursed and puckered lips, Clinton handily won this debate. She was calm, prepared, and unafraid of calling Trump out on his bullshit. Trump, on the other hand, was his usual self - boorish, unprepared, ill-spoken,and petulant. We were pleased he didn't sniffle nearly as much during this debate.

127 - 2nd Presidential Debate with Taylor Grin
Friday Oct 14, 2016
Friday Oct 14, 2016
Taylor Grin joined us via phone to cover the 2nd Presidential debate. This debate was held only two days after the video was released which shows Donald Trump bragging about sexually assaulting multiple women. It was also marked once again by Trump repeatedly sniffing like a dog whose cocaine-filled chew toy has rolled under the couch.
We wanted to get this out as soon as possible, so there are no quote drops, no ads for other shows, and no song at the end. Even with eliminating those elements, the show clocks in at right about three hours long. You're welcome.

126 - You Got Perioded On (Return of the Matt)
Monday Oct 10, 2016
Monday Oct 10, 2016
Matt's back!... At least for a few episodes before he jumps into the next round of his EMT training, and he brought his always delightful sister, Meg, with him.
We decided that a recap of the first presidential debate and the vice president debate would be better than full coverage of either of them because so much time has elapsed since they were originally aired, and we cheated by throwing in SNL's skit recapping the debate between Hillary Clinton and Donald Trumpsterfire.

125 - What Matters - The Best of Matt Mitchell
Monday Oct 03, 2016
Monday Oct 03, 2016
As promised, this is the “best of” Matt Mitchell episode. Matt brings a whole lot to the show. He’s funny, he’s fiery, and he’s got a quick comedic wit that always leaves us laughing.
You’ll notice as we move through these clips that the sound quality improves with each one. That’s because they're listed in order of appearance from our earliest episodes to the most recent episodes. We’ve made a whole lot of changes over the last 2 ½ years (created an actual studio recording room, upgraded our mic stands, got windscreens to handle “plosive” words, added some mute buttons to cover background coughing, added some shock mounts, changed our editing process, etc.).
